The Drugs Are Working is a blog created to share live recordings from bands that I taped from 2002 through 2006 in Dallas/Ft Worth/Denton, Texas area. Also, I'm back from the break so look for the new stuff.

To date I have recorded 166 performances. I will post those shows that I recorded in absolutely no obvious order.

I don't care if you repost my work onto other boards but at least give me credit on your post and direct the link here to download the show. Help spread the word.

Let me know if you find any dead links and I'll repost it.

Supergrass live in Dallas TX - March 14, 2003 - CPR-28

This was my first time seeing Supergrass after listening to them for many years. I think this might have been their first time to Dallas. No wait I think they opened for Pearl Jam...I didn't go to that. This was such a great show.

After the show I was standing around with my friends and Gaz walked out with all of his little groupies. One psycho boy was waiting for his chance to give him a cake he made completely decorated as the cover of the Life On Other Planets album. It looked cool but you could tell he wanted nothing to do with this cake and was looking for a way out of the creepy conversation. So my girlfriend and her friend walked up and asked him to take a photo of them, not of them and the rock star but just of them. He said something like "Na...really...OK". He took their camera and snapped the picture (see above). The look on his face was the best.

I did see them play again about a year or two ago but the minidisc recorder crapped out and I got nothing. It was a good reason to replace it.

Enjoy the show.
